This primer really does work wonders, it makes my face feel silky smooth without leaving a film-like texture on the surface and foundation glides over like a dream. It is a perfect companion to my two favourite foundations; KVD Lock-It Light 42 and Illamasqua Skin Base 02.
The fact this product had the most beautiful design is an added bonus as with all of Kat Von D's products. Most importantly it is vegan and cruelty-free.

Sugarpill has just re-launched their limited edition shade Pumpkin Spice along with a matching liquid to matte lipstick, so I thought this post was still half-relevant.

YENNEFER OF VENGERBERG

Caked Makeup is a relatively new indie makeup brand that I discovered a few months ago on Instagram. All of their products are cruelty free and vegan. They call there liquid lipsticks 'Lip Fondants' which I really like as the whole line has a bakery theme. I picked out two shades 'Low Key' - a terracotta/brick and 'Legit' A dark cool berry. The Lip Fondants are $16 each and you get 0.24 fluid ounces / 7mil of product. As always when ordering from America I got a nasty customs charge but luckily I like the lipsticks enough to let it slide.
The product has a whipped mousse-like texture very similar to NYX soft matte lip cremes but with a much better colour payoff. They last a long time and are relatively smudge proof but like other liquid lipsticks aren't completely resistant to food and drink, but re-apply very nicely. My favourite of the two is definitely 'Legit'
